Hi, Brewer of Gator here! I agree about the label on the beer, it was designed after a dog walker found an alligator skull /head on Crossland Moor a few miles from the brewery. This beer went very well in cask form and has become the basis of one of our regular beers Castle Hill Premium, which has a professionally designed clip/label. Really glad you enjoyed the beer, we took the bitterness down a little and gave it a little more aroma. Because it's one of our regular beers the bottles will be available more often, hopefully in Source! Your comments were really nice to hear, to be mentioned alongside Brewdog is an honour. Glad you enjoyed it. Tara Mallinson

Tara Mallinson,

Thanks so much for commenting on my blog and explaining the story behind the label of Gator. I'm looking forward to seeing the bottles of Castle Hill in Source.

As always if you want 'baron ratings' for any of your other ales you know where I am! ;)
