Oddly, while I like this as a cask beer, it doesn't really seem to work in bottled form.

Agreed the bottled form is "ok" but that's about it.

I've had it on cask a couple of times and it had a much nicer fresher taste than this.

I thought this was ....well, a little forgettable. I'd still try it on cask, though!

I've had it on cask (although it was some time ago) and it was a perfectly pleasant slightly creamy citrusy beer, shame the bottled version suffers.

Unicorn (formerly Best Bitter) must be the cask beer I've drunk most of in my life. Some knock it, but to my mind when on form it's excellent. It's also unusual in being a 4.2% beer that is sold as "ordinary" bitter.
