Morrisons May ale & beer offers (10th May - 6th June 2010)

It's May's new beer & ale offers time in Morrisons so I popped into the local Ormskirk branch today to check them out.

Here are the details:

• Badger Golden Champion [baron rating 3/5]
£1.50 instead of £1.70

• Badger Fursty Ferret [baron rating 4/5]
£1.38 instead of £1.58

• Holts 1849 [baron rating 2/5]
£1 instead of 1.69

• Ridley's Old Bob [baron rating 3/5]
£1.35 (guest ale)

• Badger Tanglefoot [baron rating 4/5]
£1.50 instead of £1.70

• Badger Golden Glory [baron rating 2/5]
£1.50 instead of £1.70

• Morland Old Speckled Hen [baron rating 4/5]
4 bottles for £4.98 instead of £5.48

I'm not overly impressed with the offers this month, although they have a bottle at £1 it's the rather dire Holts 1849 which was bland and watery. The Old Speckled Hen is the best offer, working out a 'baron bargain' of around £1.25 per bottle.
