Ales By Mail Virtual Beer Festival (Oct 2011)

Ales By Mail were very kind to me again this week by sending through the six bottles that make up the lineup for their upcoming Virtual Beer Festival on Friday 14th & Saturday 15th October 2011. Using the twitter hashtag #VBF (or #vbf) fellow drinkers will comment and discuss the beers therefore creating a virtual beer festival where we can all take about the same beer.
The line-up is as follows:

• Islay Ales Angus Og Ale - 4.5% bottle conditioned ale
• Kelham Island Easy Rider [baron rating 4/5] - 4.3% blonde full bodied ale,smooth & creamy with light citrus appeal
• Lymestone Foundation Stone [baron rating 3/5] - 4.5% pale ale,biscuit & chewy malts,with a spicy peppery finish
• Quantock White Hind - 4.5% full bodied best bitter
• Westerham British Bulldog [baron rating 4/5] - 4.3% best bitter
• Windsor & Eton Conqueror - 5% black IPA, rich complex and very distinctive
