Thank you to Young's for sending this through for a 'baron rating'!

Looking forward to 'baron rating' Courage Directors & Wells Bombardier very soon!

@YoungsBeers got in touch with me recently saying that as I enjoyed 'baron rating' their Young's ales would I like to try bottles of Courage Directors & Wells Bombardier as well.  As you know, the baron doesn't like to say "no", so very promptly some beers turned up:

Wells & Young's Brewing Company
  • Courage Directors - 4.8% traditionally brewed superior ale
  • Wells Bombardier - 5.2% traditional burnished copper ale
Look out for 'baron ratings' for these Young's beers soon, and a big thank you to Joanna from @YoungsBeers for sending these through to me!

Morrisons July ale & beer offers (12th July - 8th August 2010)

It's July's new beer & ale offers time in Morrisons so I popped into the local Ormskirk branch today to check them out.

Here are the details:
  • Wells Waggledance
  • £1.29
There are two winners this month, both below the 'baron bargain' price limit of £1.30 - Marston's Old Empire and Shepherd Neame Spitfire - both crisp hoppy strong ales for a cracking price, stock up!

Morrisons February ale & beer offers (1st Feb - 7th Mar 2010) (Ormskirk)

It's February's new beer & ale offers time in Morrisons so I popped into the local Ormskirk branch today to check them out.

Here are the details:
  • Marston's Pale Ale
    £1.39 instead of £1.65

There was nothing this month that really caught my eye, these discounts mainly bring the cost of the more expensive ones down to the same price as if you were buying the £1.67 bottles at the '4 for £5.50' price (£1.38 per bottle).

As always I'll report any changes or new additions that I see, and check back in a month to see if March's offers are any better!

Morrisons December ale & beer offers (29th Nov - 3rd Jan) (Ormskirk)

It's December's new beer & ale offers time in Morrisons so I popped into the local Ormskirk branch today to check them out.  There is nothing that special reduced this time round which is a shame as a cracking deal at Christmas time could clear their shelves.  They have the same beers on offer as last month with a few more added at about the same price.

All of these offers are valid until 3rd January so I'll check back then to see what's next!
