It's been a while since some samples have arrived at Baron Towers (sob sob) so it was a very welcome surprise when FedEx showed up bright and breezy this morning with an unexpected box of ales from
Best of British Beer:
- Arbor Brigstow Bitter - 4.3% easy drinking tawny best bitter with a malty taste.Bittering hops are Challenger with Fuggles and Goldings for flavour and aroma
- Bristol Beer Factory Southville Hop [baron rating 5/5] - 6.5% American inspired IPA
- Ilkley Jubilee - 4.5% pale ale brewed with English malted barley,hops from Kent, Australia & New Zealand (all part of the Commonwealth)
- Leeds Hellfire - 5.2% fiery pale bitter, fruity well balanced beer with a full, lasting bitterness
- Teme Valley The Hop Nouvelle - 4.1% exceptionally pale beer,brewed using green Worcestershire hops within an hour of picking
- Windsor & Eton Conqueror [baron rating 5/5] - 5% black IPA, rich, complex & very distinctive ale, roasted flavours balanced with full fresh pine hop aroma
