Looking forward to baron rating Five Points ales

Ales By Mail have been running their '#beerybits' Twitter tasting sessions for a few months now, where they offer a discount if you add the featured beers to your order with the idea of us all opening them at the same time and then chatting about them via Twitter at a specific date and time. I hosted an Okells one back in August last year (my time has flown!). Ales By Mail have been kind enough to send me the beers to be able to join in with the next one.

This is what they said about it:

Here's another date for your diary. We will be holding our next #beerybits twitter tasting on Weds 25th March 8pm-9pm. Co-hosting the event will be our friends Daniel from Original Gravity% Magazine as well as the Five Points Brewing Co.

The beers arrived in perfect condition today via UKMail as always, here are the details:

Simple, smart branding - I like it!
Five Points Brewing Co.
  • IPA - 7.1% full bodied, dry hopped India Pale Ale brewed with Cascade and Galaxy hops
  • Railway Porter -  4.8% porter with aromas of chocolate and coffee with hints of caramel, brewed with East Kent Golding hops
Look out for 'baron ratings' of these beers soon, and a big thank you to Chrissie Saunders from Ales By Mail for sending these through to me!

And if you have these beers, why not join us on Wednesday evening to open, sample and share these ales?
