Best of British Beer have been a solid supporter of The Ormskirk Baron for some time now, sending an interesting mix of ales
every now and then. This week's delivery was no exception, five beers that I've not baron rated and from breweries that I've not tried before as well.

Geeves Brewery
- Gunwale Dance - 4.2% golden pale ale with a crisp, citrusy bitterness coupled by a zingy finish and aroma
- Smokey Joe - 5% complex blend of dark malts creates with classic, rich, strong stout
Three Tuns Brewery
- Cleric's Cure -5% No description on bottle, their website says: "A light-tan beer presenting medium malty-sweetness with powerful, spicy,
floral bitterness and hop character designed to re-create the iconic
style of India Pale Ales of the 19th. Century"
Yates' Brewery
- Holy Joe - 4.9% golden ale with lots of citrus immediately evident in the aroma, and subtle
malt emerging later. Plenty of bitterness features in the mouth along
with slightly toasted, sweet malt flavours, pronounced tangy-citrus
notes and spicy coriander. Bitter, hoppy, spicy and lightly toasted
finish
- Undercliff Experience - 4.1% amber ale with a bittersweet, malt and hop taste and a dry, lemon edge that dominates the bitter finish
